I think we worry too much about whether or not politicians
will keep their promises. Who can
predict the future? Who can read a
person’s mind?
All the buzz amongst Republicans right now is about McCain,
especially since he is cozying up to the very conservatives he aliened for such
a long time. Will John McCain keep his promises?
Let me put this as clearly and as bluntly and as succinctly
as I can: I worry far more about Hillary and Obama keeping their promises, than John McCain breaking his. Do I trust
McCain? No. Do I trust Hillary and Obama?
Actually, I do. I trust them to
instigate just exactly what they promise; mandatory re-distribution of wealth,
First Amendment erosion under the guise of Hate Speech Legislation and The
Fairness Doctrine, militant gay rights agendas, and less pity for the unborn
than for two-bit Islamo Nazi dictators.
If the Democrats win the election, perhaps we should start a
new trend and hope that our politicians break a promise or two.
