Obama has finished his overseas tour, designed to show us that he really does understand foreign policy. To a crowd of cheering Germans, he spoke against torture and spoke in favor of worldwide cooperation.
TRANSLATION: He apologized for the horrible U.S. and promised to be a more likeable, kiss up President who will motivate himself by world opinion.
Before hitting Germany on the magical, mystery tour, Obama had visited the Middle East. When asked how he would deal with Iran, he answered, "With a carrot and a stick. I will also put in place a UN peacekeeping force to keep an eye on them." This may have reminded people of the UN peacekeeping force that kept Hezbullah out of Lebanon when the Syrian sponsored terrorists were attacking Israel and using Lebanon as a buffer zone.
TRANSLATION: Obama is going to do NOTHING about Iran.
Obama also had some encouraging words for Israel. Now, hold on to your seat because his plan was a radical one. In fact, it was a stroke of genius, just dripping with originality and unique thought. Are you ready? I hope you're sitting down and I hope you're in good health, because I guarantee, never in your life have you been exposed to such brilliance, and a weakened heart may not be able to stand the strain. OK. Here we go! Obama plans to hold a great big peace conference between the Israelis and the Palestinians! Wow! The fact that the Palestinians are not really interested in peace and are not really interested in a two state solution and will NEVER EVER recognize Israel's right to exist, helps us with this translation as well.
TRANSLATION; Obama will sell Israel up the river just like our previous administrations.
Obama 's mission was accomplished last week. He wanted to show us where he stood with foreign policy. So now we know. Maybe the press has forgotten that we still have another candidate in this race but I hope you will not dare to forget: His name is John McCain. I warn you though: McCain isn't interested in being President of the World. He's interested in being President of the United States.
