For A Man Who Isn't Yet President, He Sure Makes Up A Lot of Rules

The Rules of Obama continue:  For a man who is not yet president, he sure has passed a lot of legislation. And he's done it without the help of Congress. Of course, he would have to, in as much as there IS no congress right now. But he wouldn't have needed them anyway. He just keeps making this stuff up as he goes.

First, we were told that we were not allowed to criticize his wife, even though she gives campaign speeches about her view of America all the time. Next, we were told that we are not allowed to talk about his racist friends or his terrorist friends. Then, we were informed that  to call him a celebrity who is incapable of  leading the country, somehow translates as "Don't vote for Obama.  He's black."

Now he is upset again at McCain's latest campaign ad. This time, McCain critiqued Obama's plan to raise taxes. In as much as Obama has promised to do just exactly that, I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what McCain did wrong this time. I guess McCain is not allowed to say anything negative at all. If he wants to make a commercial about Obama, the commercial should encourage people to vote for Obama. Otherwise, McCain is being mean-spirited and critical.  Meanwhile, Obama will continue to tell us that four years of McCain is four more years of George Bush. Since Obama speaks of Bush as if Bush is the most evil thing since Nero, I must conclude that his assessment of McCain is some what on the critical side. But do we dare to call Obama critical? I wouldn't try it. They might label you as a racist too.

This is Bob Siegel with the latest update on the ever changing, ever evolving, Rules of Obama.
