If You Can Still Vote For Obama, You Deserve Him!

Have you seen the gleam in Obama’s eye? Our disastrous economic problems were the best thing that could have happened to him. Honestly, he has never looked happier. This whole thing put a smile on his face and a bounce in his step. Maybe that’s why Nancy Pelosi tried to sabotage the bail out vote last week. The worse the economy gets, the better it is for Obama. After all, if the voters stopped thinking of the economy, they would be forced to think about…Obama! And any close look at this guy raises an eyebrow or two toward his qualification to be president.

Yes, indeed. He knows that people always blame the current administration for the economy and luckily for him, it is a Republican administration this time. Lucky also that so few people know how to think. So don't let them think. Don't give them time to think. The mantra is simple: Republicans are in the White House. McCain is a Republican. Therefore, McCain caused our economic crisis, he and George Bush together!

Never mind that we have had a Democratic congress these last two years. Never mind that John McCain tried to get a bill passed years ago that would stop giving out loans to people who could not afford them. Never mind that the Democrats blocked that vote and Political Correctness came close to literally destroying our country.

Never mind that raising taxes (as Obama plans to do on the middle class, even though he lies and says otherwise) on a bad economy will turn the recession into a DEPRESSION.

Never mind all that. Clearly, obviously, Obama is our only hope! I mean, everyone knows we must connect John McCain with George Bush even though McCain has little in common with Bush and worked against him often. Doesn’t matter! McCain is still guilty by association!

You see, it’s important to follow these rules that forbid negative campaigning. After all, Obama makes up the rules himself.  He may speak against McCain by associating him with that "evil George Bush", but McCain dare not speak of Obama’s associations. For that matter, such discussion is off limits to the rest of us as well. We are not allowed to talk about his racist pastor or his unrepentant, terrorist friend or the gangster who got him a house, or his Jew hating Palestinian associate. All that stuff is off limits. To even mention it is negative campaigning! Obama never does negative campaigning. Just ignore that 10 minute video they produced about McCain and the Keating Five, some time ago to release as an October surpirse when they thought the time was right. Never mind that McCain was found innocent of that charge and that this is a matter of public record. Just release the video anyway to deflect all the talk about Bill Ayers. After all, a man innocent of a financial scandle is more important than associations with a proud, self professed,  unrepentant college professor who once tried to blow up our capital building and who made it abundantly clear that he hates America and who hosted a campaign event for Obama in his own home. And pay no attention to the fact that we have been hearing Democrats call Republicans Fascists for the last 8 years. That's not negative campaigning. That's just the truth from Democrats who want bigger government, even though bigger government can end up being, ah um...fascist.

And never mind his associations with the crooked group, ACORN, under investigation for voter fraud, an organization that helps illegal aliens vote and helps legal citizens vote more than once. Never mind all that. The American people just want to hear about the issues! And these issues you bring up about Obama are not issues.

And how dare you talk about his vote as an Illinois state senator that would have allowed infanticide in the hospital?  How terrible you are! Bringing that up is in bad taste. The vote itself was not in bad taste but bringing it up is in bad taste.

We must ignore all of those things about Obama. After all, only he can bring about change, real change, and fantastic change!

Well, OK then. If that’s really how you feel and this is really the man you want, and if our country has reached a point where they can elect such a weasal as president, all I can say is, our really, incredibly stupid country deserves him.
