After North Korea fired it's missile, President Obama condemned the action as a violation of UN resolutions and said actions must have consequences. He also said words (meaning resolutions) must have meaning.
But only last week, he apologized to Europe for the arrogance of America, an arrogance that takes action apart from Europe. Which action did he mean? Among other things, the action of going to war with Iraq, an action he has criticized many times, an action taken by George Bush apart from the help of France, Germany and Russia (all caught making under the table deals with Iraq). And what was Bush's reasoning? Well, it seems Iraq had violated 16 UN resolutions and Bush felt that actions must have consequences and words must have meaning.
This is Bob Siegel, making the obvious, obvious.
