SOME ADVICE TO THE FEW REPUBLICANS IN CONGRESS: The Democrats are falling apart and Obama Care may go the way of the Tyrannosaurus Rex. Please...I implore you, do not misuse your temporary momentum with something stupid like a bi-partisan health care bill. Just let this turkey completely die in time for Thanksgiving. Forget trying to impress the New York Times by showing them what a "compassionate Conservative you are." They will not be impressed. They will demonize you no matter what you do, so you may as well do what is right.
Besides, in the minds of Liberals, the only true definition of "bi-partisanship" is that Republicans do things the way Democrats want them done.
So think of this and try to remember why there are so few of you in Washington right now. Your fellow Conservatives felt betrayed. Do not betray them again or 2010 will not only see less Democrats, but brand new Republicans measuring the drapes in your office.
