I guess we've all heard the news by now. A Scottish judge released a Libyan terrorist responsible for blowing up a Pan-American plane, killing some three-hundred people. The man had been sentenced for life. The reason his sentence was abruptly cut short? The poor terrorist has colon cancer. He will soon die anyway. And so, the overly zealous mercenary was returned to Libya, where he received a hero's welcome.
With few exceptions, the Left does not understand why Conservatives would not follow suit with compassion toward those who want to kill us. Meanwhile, Conservatives ponder the realization that most people so eager to offer mercy to criminals, are also Pro-Choice. They sleep well at nights, knowing that the compassion we bestow upon terrorists is never directed toward unborn babies.
