As usual, we are hearing about how Conservatives are making much ado about nothing. So what if some beautiful, innocent children at an elementary school in New Jersey learned a song about Obama? Shouldn't kids learn to respect the president?
If this matter is causing you any troubling or confusing thoughts, I'd be happy to clarify things: Respect for the president is one thing. Indoctrination is something else altogether. The cute kiddies were not merely singing about our president. They were singing about our president's policies. Many of their parents did not vote for this man. Should their tax dollars, which fund a public school, be spent on their own children singing about issues they disagree with?
But it went beyond lyrics about equal work for equal pay. The song, Jesus Loves the Little Children was changed to an enchanting little ditty called "Obama Loves the Little Children." Interesting. The name Jesus is not even allowed in our public schools, but if we want to replace his name with Obama, all is well.
Can you just imagine if this had been a song about President Bush four or five years ago?

Don't tell me the Left wouldn't be outraged. The ACLU would be on the school grounds so fast, it would make your head spin.
